Today I traded in my two Nikon bodies that I had been using for the last 3-5 years. I had shot a total of 20 weddings and as many portrait sessions with these cameras and they never failed. I used my Nikon D700 last on our family vacation to Oregon and Washington. The camera was getting too heavy to lug around on trails, and I had long since stopped working with clients. After a lot of thought, I decided to move to a Sony a6000 mirrorless system. It is amazingly lightweight and I cannot wait to take my first shots with it. It has 24 megapixels and a usable iso up to 6400. I will post my first shot taken with the camera very soon.
